A Masterful Tale of Horror!
Life has taken a change for quiet yet strong Isabella and after saving a young girl from a murderous man, she feels satisfied. As she has done every morning for several years, she boards her usual train for work. Somehow, she has missed her stop and finds herself at Nomed Station. Calling her sister, the two try to figure out where she is and how she can get home. At every turn, Isabella inches closer to discovering where she is and why.
Will Savive, author, is a masterful storyteller. Carefully weaving a story around this smart, intelligent, caring, and strong woman, Savive smacks his listener with a plot twist that leaves the listener wide-eyed. His descriptions are vivid and detailed, each character is fully developed by the end of the story. Each plot twist is executed perfectly and with the greatest impact on the listener.
The narrator, Danielle Sanders gives a steady and enticing performance. It is as if she has become Isabella, you can hear the panic, fear, and horror in her voice at the appropriate moment. She gives each character a unique voice; some that will raise the hairs on the back of your neck!
I love horror, always have but this book takes horror to a different level – decisions, actions that we all face at one time or another and their consequences. Although it is only 3 hours and 19 minutes long, it is a powerful listen. Just remember, horror lurks around every corner, one must just wait!
There were no issues with the quality or production of this audiobook, it was clear and well produced.

More Terrifying and Violent!
No houses here, just jet planes and one dead witch of the East! Characters and storylines are borrowed from The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by Frank Baum. However, college-age Suzzanne is desperate to go home but must first overcome the evils of the Land of Oz. This is a slightly twisted story in which the horror of the journey is more evident and not sugar-coated. A definite must-listen!
The author, Will Savive creates a more terrifying and violent version of the Wizard of Oz. Each character is uniquely developed and woven carefully into the storyline and plot twists. I found the other “non-Oz” characters to be rich and equally captivating giving the story a more “Bermuda triangle” feel to it. I have found that Savive is masterful at creating new angles and twists.
The narrator, Ronnie Rowlands is perfect for this book. His use of voices to distinguish each character is flawless while also capturing nuances of each emotion and personality of each character.
I am a huge fan of Will Savive! Don’t miss this one! This book was awarded the AudioBook Reviewer’s Choice Award which is reserved for those books deemed to deserve higher than the standard 5-star rating.
